• PATH LOSS: Input parameters such as transmitter output power, antenna gain, cable loss, distance, and frequency to calculate the actual RF level at the receiver.
• MICROWAVE DISH BEAMWIDTH & GAIN: Determine the 3 dB beamwidth and antenna gain based on dish size, frequency, and efficiency.
• WAVELENGTH: Supports both metric and U.S. measurements.
• RETURN LOSS / VSWR: Calculate VSWR, reflection coefficient, and return loss from forward and reflected power inputs.
• FRESNEL ZONE: Enter link distance, obstacle distance, and frequency to ascertain the 60% and 80% zone radii, along with a visual representation of ground clearance.
• VELOCITY FACTOR (VOP): Assess the Velocity of Propagation given the dielectric constant of coaxial cables and determine propagation delay based on cable length. This feature can also calculate required cable length for specific delays and VOP values.
